I’ve accepted a Sr. Solutions Architect – Enterprise position with AWS, starting on November 11th. Although I had been aiming for a dedicated Security role, this opportunity felt just as compelling, allowing me to leverage every facet of my professional background—from enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, monitoring, security, and, of course, my cost-saving expertise.

Joining the AWS architect team is an incredible learning journey, and the scale of knowledge and innovation here is both exciting and motivating. Navigating the AWS interview process was a rewarding challenge in itself, and now I’m looking forward to working from the Portland office, collaborating with major enterprise customers across a broad range of solutions. Beyond SaaS and PaaS, this role will deepen my experience in AWS, including deeper ML, AI, security, and getting back into the enterprise at scale.
